Hi! My name is Desi!

Last year, I was blessed with the opportunity to go on a mission trip to Peru—and it changed my life in more ways than I could have ever imagined.

After saying yes to serving in Peru, my life was transformed in ways I never expected. Through working in children’s ministry and building connections beyond language, I experienced a deep sense of purpose and belonging for the first time. The people there showed me what it truly means to be rich in love, community, and joy.

Because of that experience, I now have the opportunity to return and continue serving this community that impacted me so deeply. I’m incredibly excited to go back, build on those relationships, and continue sharing love, encouragement, and the Gospel.

• Organization: World Family Missions – People of Peru Project
• Focus: Children’s ministry, outreach, church support, and community care
• Purpose: Continue relationships and impact from last year’s mission
