Hello, my name is Michelle Manuelian. I am a missionary and the founder of Revival for Africa, established in 2023. I first felt called to Africa shortly after committing my life to Christ in 1990. However, my life took an unexpected turn, and I believed I had missed my calling.
In 2014, I moved to Kansas City, MO, for a year to attend IHOP (International House of Prayer). There, I deepened my understanding of intercession, learning how to stand in the gap through prayer—for the return of Christ, for inner-city children, and for the nations.
In 2021, I felt God calling me once again to bring revival to the continent of Africa. The vision of this ministry is to ignite a spiritual awakening and renewal among God’s people, leading to repentance from sin, a renewed commitment to follow God, evangelism, and social action. Our mission is to be an end-time ministry of Spirit-filled sojourners, ready to help bring revival to African churches, their communities, and the nations they represent. This ministry also seeks to encourage and challenge African pastors and evangelists to sow the Word of God into the hearts and lives of those who are lost, restoring them to Jesus Christ.
Currently, I am serving the African community both locally and abroad. I have volunteered extensively with Glocal Community Partners, an organization that serves the refugee community in my area. I have hosted baby showers, provided transportation for a Congolese woman attending language classes, and attended an African church for several years. Additionally, I am teaching Bible study classes and leading revival prayer meetings online with African pastors and evangelists.
Looking ahead, my plan is to build a team of missionaries who feel called to serve alongside African pastors and evangelists through crusades, prayer, and evangelism. I intend to travel to Kenya in August 2025 for a few weeks and return at the end of the year for a two-month mission. My long-term goal is to serve full-time in Kenya in 2026, with the hope of seeing the Kenyan community restored to Christ.
