Privacy Policy for World Family Missions

World Family Missions (“we”, “our”, or “us”) is committed to respecting and safeguarding the privacy of our donors, supporters, and visitors. This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, store, and disclose personal information, as well as the rights and choices you have regarding your personal data.

2. Information We Collect

We may collect and store the following types of personal information:

Name, Address, Email address, Phone number, Donation amount and date, Payment information.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use your personal information for the following purposes:

•         To process and acknowledge your donations
•         To issue tax receipts
•         To respond to your inquiries or requests
•         For internal record-keeping and reporting as required by law
•         To send one-off communications as necessary

4. No Selling or Trading of Your Information

We will not sell, trade, or share your personal information with any other organization, nor send donor mailings on behalf of other organizations.

5. Opting Out of Mailing Lists

We respect your choice in how we communicate with you. By donating, you will not be automatically added to any regular WFM mailing list. 

However, please note that we may still need to reach out to you for one-off communications, such as to ensure tax receipts are sent out correctly. If you wish to opt out of any specific communication, please contact us at contact@worldfamilymissions.org.

Additionally, WFM missionaries are individuals who maintain their own mailing lists and marketing materials. If you wish to be removed from an individual’s mailing list, please contact the missionary directly.  

6. Anonymous Donations

If you prefer your donation to remain anonymous, please indicate that preference when donating via check, PayPal, or any other payment method. We will make our best efforts to ensure that your identity and donation details are kept confidential. Please note that, for regulatory reasons, we will still maintain a record of your donation, but it will not be publicly acknowledged.

7. Data Security

We implement a variety of security measures to ensure the safety of your personal information. Your personal information is contained behind secured networks and is only accessible by a limited number of persons who have special access rights to our systems, and are required to keep the information confidential.

8. Accessing and Correcting Your Information

9. Changes to this Privacy Policy

We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices, technology, legal requirements, and other factors. If we do, we will update the “effective date” at the top of our Privacy Policy. We encourage you to review this policy periodically to be informed about how we are protecting your information.
