Owen Verissimo
This summer, I will be volunteering with the People of Peru Project for about ten days. I am partnering with World Family Missions, a registered nonprofit dedicated to sending missionaries worldwide. As a high school student, I am excited to connect with local children and share the love of Jesus with them.
The People of Peru Project focuses on spreading the gospel and strengthening local churches in their faith. During our trip, we will participate in medical missions, water filtration projects, and Vacation Bible School (VBS) for the local church and community, along with many other initiatives. I am especially excited to use my gift of music to share God’s love through worship during this mission.
This trip is a deeply personal opportunity for me to grow spiritually and emotionally while serving others. To make this journey possible, I am raising funds.
