Tanda Tomchak
My name is Tanda Tomchak. Last year, I served on my first mission trip in Iquitos, Peru. This was truly a life-changing experience, and I am so excited to be able to serve again this summer! I left part of my heart with those in Peru at that time, and I am also happy to be able to share this experience with my husband, Peter Tomchak. As an RN, I will be able to use my skills for medical clinics in underserved areas. Combined with a degree in Psychology and training/experience in lifestyle medicine, I am open to seeing how God can use these skills.
I am looking forward to being able to teach a night of Vacation Bible School. In addition to the experiences of last summer, I will also be extending my trip along with half of our team in order to travel further down the Amazon River and minister to/build up the pastoral staff in these areas. There are many new areas where I am stepping out in faith, and I appreciate your prayers—for myself and our team—that we would continue in obedience, step forward in courage when we feel unqualified, and see God’s power manifest.
