I wanted to share with you an amazing opportunity I get to be a part of. At the end of June, I will be flying out to serve on a short-term mission trip to the people of Iquitos, Peru! For those of you who know me and my love for missions, my cup is about to be filled up! I am going with a team from another local Foursquare Church (The Journey), and we fly out on June 24, returning on July 9. I am thrilled to partner with The Journey because they have served there before. Our primary goal will be, first and foremost, to love the Lord our God with all our hearts, souls, and minds, and to love our neighbors near and far (far in this case!). We will continue with construction projects, host a vacation Bible School, and perform house visits offering hope, hospitality, and healing. We desire to have many opportunities to share the Gospel message of Jesus Christ!
