Lucy Verissimo
This summer, I will be volunteering with the People of Peru Project for about ten days. I am partnering with World Family Missions, a registered nonprofit dedicated to sending missionaries worldwide.
The People of Peru Project focuses on spreading the gospel and strengthening local churches in their faith. During our trip, we will participate in medical missions, water filtration projects, and Vacation Bible School (VBS) for the local church and community, among many other initiatives. Additionally, I will be involved with Poppi’s House, a safe refuge where young girls rescued from trafficking receive care and support. I am eager to meet these brave girls and, hopefully, be part of their healing journey.
This mission trip is a deeply personal opportunity for me to grow spiritually and emotionally while serving others. To make this trip possible, I am raising funds.
